You Have Questions. We Have Honest Answers.

If you've been burned before, or just have a hard time trusting this industry, that's a reasonable position. Here's how we approach it.

You've seen the frozen foreheads. You've heard the horror stories. You're not sure whether these places are selling you something or actually helping you. You don't want to look like 'work was done' — or worse, look like a specific celebrity who clearly had too much. Your skepticism is not a problem to be overcome. It's a signal that you're paying attention, and it's actually what makes you a good candidate for conservative treatment.

At Summer House, we take honest consultation seriously. That means telling you when a treatment won't make a meaningful difference for your specific concern. It means recommending less than you ask for when we think more would overshoot the result. It means explaining how something works and what the realistic outcome is before we do anything. If you come in wanting to understand before you commit, that's exactly the right starting point — and we'll meet you there without any pressure to move faster than you're comfortable with.

Why Summer House

Consultation first, always

We never start a treatment in a first appointment without a thorough consultation. We want to understand what you're trying to address, what you've tried before, what you've seen that made you nervous, and what a good outcome looks like to you. That conversation shapes everything that follows. You can come in for a consultation and leave without having anything done — that's a completely acceptable outcome and one that happens regularly.

We tell you when the answer is no

If you describe a concern and the honest answer is that no available treatment will meaningfully address it, we'll say that. If you want a result that isn't achievable without surgery, we'll say that too. We'd rather lose a transaction than give someone a treatment that won't deliver what they're hoping for. That transparency is what earns trust over time.

Conservative starts that you can evaluate

First treatments at Summer House are conservative by design. You can always add. The goal is to give you a result that's meaningful but subtle enough that you can assess it honestly — and decide from there whether you want to continue, adjust, or stop. No one at Summer House will tell you that you need to come back in two weeks for more.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if I hate the result?

The good news about most injectable treatments is that they're temporary. Botox metabolizes in three to four months. Hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if needed. We start conservatively specifically to minimize the risk of a result you're unhappy with, and we'd always rather under-do it and add than overshoot. If you have concerns after a treatment, we want to know — come back in and we'll assess together.

How do I know I won't walk out looking overdone?

Because we don't work that way. The overdone look comes from excessive volume, aggressive dosing, and providers who are incentivized to do more. We start with less than you might expect, assess the result, and let you decide whether you want to build on it. The number of people who walk out of Summer House looking 'done' is zero — and we intend to keep it that way.

I've heard filler can go wrong. Is it actually safe?

Filler, when placed incorrectly or in the wrong tissue plane, carries risks including vascular occlusion — a rare but serious complication. Proper training, correct technique, anatomical knowledge, and appropriate product selection dramatically reduce that risk. We use experienced injectors, conservative volumes, and follow current safety protocols including aspiration techniques and knowledge of danger zones. It's not risk-free, but in the hands of a qualified provider following proper technique, it is a safe and well-established procedure.
