PRP / PRF Facial

PRP (platelet-rich plasma) and PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) facials use growth factors concentrated from your own blood to stimulate skin renewal. The concentrate is either applied topically during microneedling to enhance penetration or injected superficially for a rejuvenating effect. Because the treatment uses your own biology, there is no risk of allergic reaction and the regenerative response is natural.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between PRP and PRF?

PRP (platelet-rich plasma) is spun at a higher speed, producing a liquid concentrate with a high platelet count. PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) is spun more slowly, creating a gel-like fibrin matrix that releases growth factors more slowly over time. PRF is generally considered a more advanced formulation with a sustained regenerative effect. We offer both and will recommend based on your goals.

Is a PRP facial painful?

When combined with microneedling, the discomfort is similar to standard microneedling — manageable with topical numbing cream applied beforehand. The blood draw is a brief pinch. If PRP or PRF is injected rather than applied topically, numbing is also used. Most clients find the experience tolerable and well worth the regenerative benefit.
